Best of 2013

For the first time I am dumbfounded not knowing how to summarise my year without sounding like a failure. This year hadn't been an easy one for me... at all! It pains me to list them all out but I'm a trooper so I'm gonna look on the bright side and list all the good stuff that had happened, in no chronological order, because I'm feeling kinda messy right now.
  1. I switched job... finally to one I felt more at ease with... so far.
  2. Despite being absolutely shit with money, I powered through days like a champion and survived!
  3. Fuck school, I focused on having a hell lot of fun and I regretted none.
  4. Felt closer to my friends... the very important group of people I had neglected during my stint in my previous job/s.
  5. I strengthened my skillsets and learn new things which I can take away and use in future.
  6. My iPhone 4 is still ALIVE! YAY!
  7. I've mastered the skill to wake up with my phone alarm without major snoozing.
  8. My hair is more manageable now than it was 11 months ago. Technically I nurse it back to health. Can't wait for it to grow longer so that I can destroy it again.
  9. I finally learnt how to marinate chicken for my BBQ sessions.
  10. I know how to play tennis now!

I guess it's safe to say my year hasn't been that horrendous but I am highly looking forward to 2014 and much more determined to make my year much more worthy of blogging about than now.

Some failures I want to highlight...
  1. Plank Challenge - I didn't follow through
  2. NaNoWriMo - I gave up after 1,000 words
  3. Save money - pfft... that went down the drain
  4. School - that can wait until I am in the right mind to carry on with it
  5. Work - taking it a day at a time and working my way to be a better, improved Fida
Cheers to the new year, new job and new beginnings.
