Best of 2013

For the first time I am dumbfounded not knowing how to summarise my year without sounding like a failure. This year hadn't been an easy one for me... at all! It pains me to list them all out but I'm a trooper so I'm gonna look on the bright side and list all the good stuff that had happened, in no chronological order, because I'm feeling kinda messy right now.

Just because...

Had the opportunity to introduce my dear friend all my outlets. Potentially to be picked as one of her filming location. We were awed by the Christmas tree at UOB Building at Raffles Place and decided to do a festive selfie.

Me: like a family Christmas card?

Her: can also!

Like what my ex boss used to say, "Have a good one".

I feel literally challenged right now

I have made a pledge to read 20 books this year. I have roughly 2 months left on the calendar and so far I have completed 16 books in total. I have 4 more to go and I am really hoping for a miracle to happen. Reading is not happening in November as I will be busy writing instead. Fuck me for taking on ridiculous projects and challenges that will somewhat do me more harm then good. To summarise my entry today is that I HAVE NO TIME! Gawd... dafuq am I doing with my life and it's almost the end of 2013. Sigh...

Oh, ma belleh...

I work in Orchard Road and I am still on the search of affordable food that taste good but friendly on my waistline. I am fortunate to be able to enjoy free meals at work but eating Ang Moh food everyday is not... erm... fun.

Here comes the excuses...

I've been redesignated and taking in more roles at work hence the hiatus. I'm committed to blog at least once a week now, no excuses. I've yet to fix my home monitor but I've seriously gotten used to not turning on my PC!

God damn pissed

Haven't blogged in a while as I've been occupied with work plus my monitor is not working. I had to watch movies on my mobile phone, goddamnit!

I've yet to write the final instalment of my dental woes. It'll come eventually. Just be patient with me.

I am on mid-trimester now and I am praying hard that my second half of the term will be smooth sailing. At the moment, I have 2 presentation, 2 essay and 3 more exams to go before I can wrap up for this year. Oh by the way, that's school. On the job front, I have 2 old babies to wrap up by early next year and 2 new babies to take care of till the end of next year. 4 babies is a lot for a person but I'm a trooper... don't forget that. I'm so gonna be on a pill until 2014.

I am living the dream of many media students in the country. I shouldn't complain but what the fresh grad should know is the glam bit of my job just makes up like 5% of the job. I am fortunate to be blessed with opportunities to help me grow in terms of knowledge, maturity and wisdom without actually getting any academic qualifications for it. But being the old fart I am, I never took that for granted.
