I know what you're thinking. Free meals = more savings. I couldn't agree more but here's the downside:
1. It makes me miss home cooked meals/Asian meals like I've never experienced before. A couple of years back I did experience the "no more rice ever" episode where my appetite converted to being a westerner.
2. I got sick and tired with the options available. Six months and I've already covered the available menu options many many times. At times I try to even be creative and swooping ingredients with whatever just so it will look/taste somewhat like a new item.
3. Unhealthy... so so unhealthy! The food is so rich it sometimes made me not even want to have dinner. I did go for the salad/soup option instead of the heavier meals. It says a lot coming from someone who hates her greens!
I don't mind splurging a bit for lunch but come on, it's Orchard Road for crying out loud. I will be crowded EVERYWHERE!!!! Me no likey, mmkay!
I would dabao food from home but we don't have any microwave for reheating. Maybe I should get on the Subway diet. Maybe I should just eat fruits. Is that even healthy?
On top of my food intake concerns, I pledge to do something healthy like why you people call exercising. I used to get my sweat going on dance floors. I'm too old for that shit unfortunately. Hahaha!
I try to play tennis once a week only if it doesn't rain. I cannot swim as my ear infection kept coming back everytime I do. I can go for long walks but I fucking can't stand the weather here. A friend of mine told me about this pedometer thingamajig called FitBit. Looks interesting but too high of a commitment.
That's a whole paragraph of excuses for you to remember me by. Toodles!
