#MH370 Mysterious Dissapearance

I actually have a blog topic in mind but decided to postponed it so that I can discuss with you about the recent crisis of the missing Malaysian Airline's MH370. I have been following the news since the day it was first published, refreshing MH's website for new press releases and scouring many news portal for latest updates. I am very freaked out that the airplane has since not been discovered. No modern technology has been able to locate it (aside from the oil slicks that's allegedly from MH370) and media has been spewing out countless speculations on its whereabouts.

So I finally caught the movie, avoiding all spoilers and reviews as it has already started screening in US since Feb 14. I went with two of my girlfriends who had never read the book (or the synopsis). I was worried that the movie might disappoint them as it's a work day and we caught the late show (9.30 pm, which means, the movie ends about 11.30 pm).

I'm sorry, but in what world would anyone women would want to expose themselves every time when their pikachu is feeling hot and bothered? I guess this dress, made of leather, foils and whatnots, must have been invented by a man. Why don't they come up with some space pants that can hide hard-ons instead? Happy Valentine's Day.... NOT!

14th February 2014 made history in my life where I celebrated my Valentine's Day with 7 other ladies and we painted the city RED! No, we weren't boycotting couples celebrating their love in public, on the contrary, we are celebrating the end of courtship for our friend, Zana. Her wedding's in a month's time and we picked the perfect day to make her realise what she will be leaving behind. There's probably like 87,563 photos of us from that night, but I've decided to display the decent ones where we are all still, erm, sober-ish.

GUEST: We need four tickets to see Titanic. Tomorrow.
CONCIERGE: I’m sorry sir, but I don’t believe the Titanic is showing at our theaters now.
GUEST: NO! You are concierge. We want to see REAL Titanic.
CONCIERGE: (in state of utter confusion) Sir, are you thinking of Pearl Harbor? If so, I would be more than happy to talk to you about tour options, but I’m afraid the Titanic is at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean, and there are not tours that go there anyway.
GUEST: Our friend went to Titanic when they were in Honolulu, now you tell me that I can’t see Titanic?
CONCIERGE: Again sir, I’m sorry, but the Titanic is not in Hawaii. You were actually a lot closer to it in Germany than you are here.
GUEST: Fine. We go to Pearl Harbor then. Tomorrow for four. What is Pearl Harbor?

GUEST: I need two things.Where can I buy a coat? A real coat.
CONCIERGE: Yes, you’ll need one! There’s ___ down the block to the right.
GUEST: Perfect. But first things first: where’s a good sports bar?
CONCIERGE: There’s ___ down the block to the left, and two blocks over.
GUEST: Great, thanks! (exits to the left)

Am I angered by his comments? Hell, no! But the majority of Singaporeans are. It's time for me to address my sentiments and why I think the nation is overreacting.

The Only Child

Oooooh the stereotypes that's casted upon being the only offspring to a set of parents can be downright cruel at times. I have been the only child (as far as I know) all my life and needless to say, I am one of those who are dying to have siblings to argue, play and grow old with. The older I get, the more I resented the idea of me being the only one in the family that will be left to carry on the family genes.

Vampire Academy Series

I am having major withdrawal after I reached the last page of the 6th book. I will rant on the characters and plots from book 1 to 6. So I'm giving you a warning that massive spoilers lies beyond this paragraph. The risk you take, I hold no responsibility for.

Books I want to read before they turn into a movie

I believe I have less than 3 months to cover all of them. I'm almost done with Vampire Academy and I believe I can move on with the others. Hopefully 3 days per book. Haha, no! Speed reading is not part of my 2014 resolution.

High school sweetheart

I will dedicate this entire post for all my high school sweethearts. I stalked them for a bit to find out if they have been ageing gracefully or not. Oh just a little disclaimer: I broke up with all of them. So here goes nothing....
